System Of A Down pick their spot for their tours in modern times, and yesterday (July 26th), they announced a handful of dates in Australia and New Zealand in the first quarter of 2027. They'll be taking proto-nu icons Faith No More with them, marking the latter's first proper tour dates in a decade.
The news comes after a reported reunion back in June, which has of course been since confirmed with this run. Frontman Mike Patton has been busy with projects such as AVTT/PTTN, with the rest of FNM showing that they do, in fact, care a lot, albeit in their own ways.
As for System, Serj Tankian has been hard at work with an art exhibit earlier this year, as well as a team-up with fellow Axis of Justice member Tom Morello and Tom's son Roman on "ADJOURN IT," which released earlier this summer.
Pre-sales can be found on System Of A Down's website on Tuesday, July 28th, with general on-sale beginning on Friday, July 31st.
