Hearing classic songs in new genres never gets old, and Two Travelling Bards clearly understand this idea. The duo of Natalie Grace and Steve, in addition to their original music act Nastee Chapel, have a collection of "Bard Awards," given to musicians who they have deemed honorary bards, in the grand tradition of adventurers in every realm.
One such award was given to System of a Down, with the duo covering the band's song "Aerials."They have recently posted footage of them playing the song in Boston, putting the guitar parts onto acoustic guitar and mandolin. Given the song's roots, as well as the hidden track "Arto" which follows it on "Toxicity," hearing a busking folk version makes all the more sense, and Natalie Grace and Steve do a fine job with their take.
