Vimic Release "Parasite Persona" From 'Open Your Omen'

Vimic's once-lost album releases on Friday, October 3rd.

We are just days away from Vimic's reunion and benefit show, as the band formed in part by the late Joey Jordison is set to assemble at the Teragram Ballroom in Los Angeles, CA on Friday, October 3rd. The show will benefit the Joey Jordison Charitable Fund, which is tasked with providing music education access to students in Jordison's native Iowa. A Kickstarter campaign began by the Jordison family raised just over $100,000USD to fund the production and distribution.

Part of the buildup to this one-off reunion has been the previously unreleased Open Your Omen, which was waylaid between producer Kato Khandwala's death in 2018 and Jordison's passing in 2021. Ahead of the album's release, the first song from the record has released in "Parasite Persona," a sludgy song with downtuned riffing and Kalen Chase's dynamic vocals.

The album is available for pre-order, releasing October 3rd. The tracklist is as follows:

1. The Ending (Love & Lacerations)
2. Marionette
3. She Sees Everything
4. Earth Stood Still
5. I Fear The Worst
6. Simple Skeletons
7. In Your Shadow
8. Parasite Persona
9. Fail Me (My Temple)
10. Empty Handed
11. Beautiful Mistakes
12. My Fate
13. Save Yourself
14. A Beginning (Pain & Purification)
15. The Enemy
