WATCH: Slipknot Whip Resurrection Fest Into Frenzy With "People = Shit"

The Iowa stalwarts haven't missed a step.

When Eloy Casagrande joined up with Slipknot, one of the biggest talking points I was seeing was how it seemed like the band were playing songs live at the same tempo, whereas Joey Jordison before him would seem to lay into the track with a few more BPMs than he did in the studio.

After seeing this clip from this June's Resurrection Festival in Spain, I think I get it now.

Slipknot's appearance at the festival's 20th anniversary had a hand in contributing to sellouts of early bird passes, and while final figures haven't been released yet, the crowd shots in the clip would suggest thousands on thousands of Maggots screaming along to the band's "People = Shit" from the sophomore album Iowa.

It's amazing to see such a tenured act like Slipknot still going strong after over a quarter century on the trot, and judging by this clip, they haven't missed a step. See for yourself below:
