South Korean rockers Xdinary Heroes have dropped their latest EP/mini-album IMPULSE, and are marking the occasion with a music video for its opening track "Obsessed With Youth." The synth-heavy title track is a nod to 2000s alt-rock, serving as the first new music released without former leader Gunil, who departed the band amid controversy in August.
Fans, affectionately known by the band as "VILLAINS," have noted that the quintet are playing instruments used in their debut single "Happy Death Day," released in 2021 shortly after the band's official announcement by label JYP Entertainment. Now coming up on their fifth anniversary, with one LP and nine EPs under their belts, Xdinary Heroes are looking to extend their reach in the rock world.

IMPULSE is available now via JYP Entertainment, with producer Zakk Cervini and Bring Me The Horizon frontman Oli Sykes involved in the composition and production of the track "Give Up The Ghost."
