In the new world, few vocal performances are as legendary as the 17-second-scream by Chester Bennington on Linkin Park's 2007 single "Given Up." The moment is in such rarified air that on "Heavy Is The Crown," new co-vocalist Emily Armstrong kept her scream to 16 seconds, intentionally keeping from overshadowing the late Bennington's accomplishments and legacy.
In this age of social media, the scream has become a benchmark for social media challenges, and in a recent video, fitness influence King Kreas teamed up with AEW's Buddy Matthews to hold a bicep curl for the duration of Bennington's iconic howl. As expected from the former AEW World Trios Champion, he does so with ease, as seen in the video below:
Matthews is currently training to make his in-ring return to AEW, as he was injured in a match last February in his native Australia. He has yet to return to television since, but if he's making this look easy, it may only be a matter of time before Rhea Ripley's mister terrorizes the roster once more.
