K-pop sensation ATEEZ just announced their US tour for this fall, and this is important to us in the nu metal world why? One of the group’s members, Mingi, has spoken previously about being a big fan of Limp Bizkit and Linkin Park, among other 2000s rock and metal bands.
On a livestream on their label KQ Entertainment’s proprietary TOKTOQ app, the rapper and lyricist answered fan questions about music and influences, and treated fans and stans to a fix of that Limp Bizkit mix:

The group doesn’t shy away from rock influences, as leader Hongjoong is known to shred on an Ibanez guitar at live shows. They also put out a merchandise set entitled ROCK WILL NEVER DIE for the 2024 holiday season.
Surely I’m not the only one that finds the idea of a K-pop / nu metal collaboration to be amusing in ways that can’t quite be put into words?
