AVTT/PTTN Announce Debut Live Performance For Big Ears Festival 2026

The collaboration will see its first live performance next March at the Knoxville festival.

Following their debut album release on November 14th, AVTT/PTTN, the project between folk artists The Avett Brothers and the legendary Mike Patton, are set to have their debut live show at Big Ears Festival in Knoxville, TN next year. Founded in 2009, it's a four day showcase of art, film and music featuring artists from across the globe and spanning various genres.

In an Instagram post, the Avett brothers said:

“We’re excited to announce our first ever AVTT/PTTN concert will be at @bigearsfestival in Knoxville, TN on March 28, 2026! Festival passholders will receive early access and preferred pricing for reserved seats for the show. Any remaining tickets will be offered in a general public on-sale.”

As a refresher, the project came to be after Patton’s team reached out to the brothers when they referenced him in an interview as a source of inspiration. After a bit of back and forth in sharing ideas, AVTT/PTTN was born. So far the trio have released two singles from their self titled, “Eternal Love” and “Heaven’s Breath”.

If you’re interested in seeing their first ever performance, Big Ear’s website has tickets and special passes available, as well as locations of nearby hotels for a comfortable stay.
