ChRocktikal are just days away from releasing their first EP Bloom & Gloom, and as part of the release cycle, the South Korean hard rock outfit have unveiled a highlight medley, capturing bits of each of the six tracks on offer.
Earlier this summer, guitarist Lee Wonseok teased a brighter sound as compared to the band's We break, you awake LP from earlier this year, and sure enough, he wasn't lying. If nothing else, this is showcasing the band's influences, taking a more straightlaced rock and roll approach, particularly on songs like "WTH," which even sees singer Lee Siyeon drop an F-bomb in the clip ("in my fuckin' head"). "Guilty" shows a darker vibe compared to the rest of the record, with an organ melody and a more melancholic feel.
