German alt-metallers Consvmer have unleashed a song that is, to borrow from their native tongue, kurz und schmerzlos. "Krieg" is a gnarly riff stretched out to about ninety-odd seconds. Borrowing from deathcore, nu metal, and beatdown, this song is a kick in the teeth that connects before you even know what's coming.
