Consvmer Wage "Krieg" With Nu-Infused New Track

The German outfit's third album 'Abgrund' is due out in September.

German alt-metallers Consvmer have unleashed a song that is, to borrow from their native tongue, kurz und schmerzlos. "Krieg" is a gnarly riff stretched out to about ninety-odd seconds. Borrowing from deathcore, nu metal, and beatdown, this song is a kick in the teeth that connects before you even know what's coming.

Check out the music video, which was directed by the band's guitarist Daniel Fischer, below:

Consvmer's new album Abgrund drops on September 25th via Out of Line Music. Thus far, the singles have included the beatdown-infused "Sucht." On the subject matter of the record, the band have offered the following insight:

"Abgrund is heavier, denser and more creative than anything we have done before. It is an album for people who do not just listen to music in the background, but want to feel it physically."

The album's track listing is as follows:

  1. Abgrund
  2. Einsam
  3. Gift
  4. Gier
  5. Konstrukt
  6. Schmerz
  7. Wunden
  8. Krieg
  9. Willenlos
  10. Sucht
  11. Gottverlassen
