After much ballyhoo and several social media teases, those crazy Germans (and one American, now that Frank Zummo is on board) that are Electric Callboy released their cover of Sum 41's "Still Waiting."
The original song's tendencies towards thrash metal lends the whole affair into harsh vocals, with plenty of punk energy and techno elements to keep things firmly in the realm that EC have been playing in for some time now. Given the band's last cover of Cascada's international smash hit "Everytime We Touch," we knew that these jungs would be fine covering such a beloved track, and it's good to see that they proved us right.
This marks drummer Frank Zummo's second release with his new band, the first being "Revery" earlier this summer.
