Enemy Inside Tackle Hypocrisy With "Innocent"

The song was a CD-exclusive track on their new album 'Venom.'

"Let he who is without sin cast the first stone" is a tautology used to excuse or justify what many would consider wretched behavior rather than reflect on oneself, and Germany's Enemy Inside are not having any of that. The band have released "Innocent," originally a CD-exclusive song on their newest album Venom, out now via Reigning Phoenix Music.

On the song, the band have this to say:

"'Innocent' is a song about guilt, hypocrisy, and the human tendency to judge others while ignoring our own flaws. Inspired by the biblical quote 'Let he who is without sin cast the first stone,' it's a reminder that before we point fingers, we should take a hard look at ourselves."

The band are currently on tour in Europe, with Wacken Open Air Festival on the horizon next week. Those dates are as follows:
