2024 has been written into the book of the nu, and what a year it's been. It was the 30th anniversary of Korn's seminal Korn, and, as if to prove the continued relevance and power of that record, every band in nu metal's royal family hit the road, including the barely-speaking-to-each-other System of a Down. We've had movies acknowledging nu metal's impact on history, the return of Linkin Park with both a record and a tour--oh, and Korn got a motherfucker burger.
Since we're clearly the only relevant tastemakers in the nu metal arena, we've decided it's time to find a lasting way to acknowledge the very latest and absolute greatest achievements in nu metal with our very own special mark of excellence. So without further ado, we give you the Agendys. There will be categories, awards, laughter, tears, and lots of memories. Or at least we hope. One thing is for certain--there will be posts. So pop some corks, put on your pearls, and squeeze your monacles nice and tight into your eyesockets, lest our sizzling takes pop those fuckers right into your champers flute. The Agendys!
