The guys in Indigo Blaze are on a roll. With 2024 boasting their breakout hit "CRITICAL HIT" and 2025 seeing the release of their debut EP, UTB, they're keeping up the momentum with their new single "NECTA".
One of the things that Indigo Blaze are best at is combining smooth lyrical flow with music that makes you want to get up and move. That is on full display with this new track. The rapping ability and creativity of vocalist Rhys Gahan is commendable; who thinks to rhyme dodo with Kyoto? Not to be out shined, the instrumentation provides a very solid foundation that supports the vocals. Indigo Blaze have established their signature sound, an ebb and flow of spotlighting the rapping to then showcasing the heaviness and grooviness of the guitars and drums. If there's one thing you can count on from this band, its creating an ear worm that will be stuck in your head for days on end.
Not only have they added another certified banger to their discography, Indigo Blaze are also nominated for West Australian Music's "2026 Song of the Year" with "D1" in the "Heavy/Metal" category and "Pump It" in the "Punk/Hardcore" category.
