Kittie fans have a good reason to be absolutely feral, as the Canadian foursome led by the Lander sisters Morgan and Mercedes have announced the upcoming release of their seventh studio album, ending an indefinite hiatus following the release of 2011’s I’ve Failed You. The band began teasing new material last week on their social media, titillating devotees with such anticipatory imagery as an empty throne chair, followed only by the words "COMING SOON."
Accompanying this news, SiriusXM's Liquid Metal channel is streaming the exclusive world premiere of Kittie's new single "Eyes Wide Open," playing the song once every hour for the entire day of Tuesday, February 13th.
Album details are still forthcoming, but this latest and long-awaited effort is to be produced by Nick Raskulinecz (Korn, Code Orange, Foo Fighters, Deftones, Alice In Chains, Mastodon).
