On July 28, 2025, Puscifer, fronted by Maynard James Keenan of Tool and A Perfect Circle and longtime collaborators Mat Mitchell and Carina Round, launched In Case You Were Napping, a digital-only, 15-song compilation under Puscifer Entertainment, Alchemy Recordings, and BMG. This release commemorates nearly twenty years of the Puscifer.
Puscifer's official website reads, "In Case You Were Napping. A curated trip through the Puscifer catalog from Maynard, Mat & Carina is out now on all streaming platforms.
Maynard: 'Deep diving into the Puscifer catalog usually inspires the same reaction that Dr Philip Channard had once he'd opened Lemarchand's Box. ‘And to think. I hesitated.’ We have such sounds to play you.'"
The career spanning collection draws from Puscifer’s albums and EPs. Featured tracks include fan favorites such as “The Humbling River,” “Momma Sed,” and “Conditions of My Parole,” as well as standout selections like “The Mission [M Is For Milla Mix]” (featuring vocals from Milla Jovovich), the ever poignant 2020 single, “Apocalyptical,” and “Grand Canyon."
Along with this release, Puscifer has officially announced that their fifth studio album is scheduled for 2026. Even before its release, the band will debut the new, as-yet-untitled record live on August 11 at Exchange L.A., across two performances, with the 8 p.m. show sold out and a limited number of tickets still available for the 5 p.m. set.
