A Place To Kill have announced their end to the first self-titled EP duology. For the uninitiated, A Place To Kill is a collaboration between Filter's Richard Patrick and photographer and vocalist of THERE IS NO US, Jim Louvau.
The duo put together their first EP back in June, and subsequently announced they had music on the way last month. Now the second EP has a solid release date of November 13th, and its first single "Keep My Name Out Of Your Mouth" will be released in a few days on Friday, September 25th.
Speaking with Blabbermouth, Patrick stated his thoughts on the new EP:
"Super proud of this new EP. It's even heavier and crazier than the first one. The post-apocalypse never sounded so good."
Louvau commented on the love the duo have been getting, the love that inspired concept of the duology:
"We were so overwhelmed at the response we received after we released the first EP that we wanted to get back into the studio as soon as possible to work on the follow-up and give people more new music — and to also make it clear that this wasn't just a one-off side project," says Louvau. "'APTK2' sounds more focused, more ferocious, and more pissed off than ever. We took some new roads this time around, and these songs feel more cinematic and serve as a soundtrack to the aftermath of a world that destroyed itself due to greed and betrayal."
