Among many signals that someone has "made it" in the world of entertainment are having a clue dedicated to your achievements on the iconic Jeopardy! Nu metal is not a frequent flyer on the show, at least not outside of the Rock and Roll or Pop Culture offshoots, but one of the genre's progenitors got his flowers this week, albeit for a milestone outside of his music.
Ice-T, rapper and frontman for Body Count, was the subject of Wednesday's Final Jeopardy! clue, which honed in on his work as Det. Fin Tutuola on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, a role which he has played for a record-setting number of seasons, as the clue pointed out. It did mention his solo album Home Invasion, but I suppose shouting out a track like "Cop Killer" or an album like Born Dead might be a bit too low-brow for the likes of Ken Jennings and Co.
T would celebrate the moment on his X (formerly Twitter) account, remarking that he had a "life achievement unlocked" on that night. Add to this his dodging of the title of Nation's Dumbest, and he's had a good time as far as game shows are concerned in 2026.
