Brad Wilk of Rage Against the Machine Announces Band Will Cease All Performances Indefinitely

This is a breaking news story, article to be updated with details as they arrive

Brad Wilk, drummer for Rage Against the Machine, announced via Instagram that the band would not be rescheduling their cancelled 2022 shows or playing live together again.

The band's 'Public Service Announcement' tour had initially been postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic then cancelled in late August 2022 after vocalist Zack De La Rocha tore his ACL on stage, forcing him to return home and head to physical therapy to recover.

The tour marked the band’s first live appearance in 11 years and their first full-length tour in 22 years. The announcement from Brad Wilk means their August 14, 2022 show at Madison Square Garden in New York City as the final ever live outing.

Meanwhile, System of a Down's John Dolmayan had extended an invitation via IG for a 'drummer tour.' No word yet on what that might entail.
