The West Coast is officially getting another dose of Chat Pile. The Oklahoma City fourpiece recently announced their inclusion in this year's Sound and Fury festival, joining the likes of Fleshwater, Full of Hell, and Harms Way. The festival will take place Saturday and Sunday, July 13-14, in Los Angeles, CA. Weekend passes start around $150.
Chat Pile last visited LA in November to take the stage at Substance Fest on their farthest west performance since joining Lingua Ignota to haunt the Stanley Hotel early in 2023.
The band also reports "TREMENDOUS progress" on recording a new album, the follow-up to their breakout 2022 debut God's Country. This sophomore effort is expected to be released later this year with The Flenser.
