Looking for a way to commemorate your love for metal legends System of a Down this weekend and you're in the Chicago area? Well look no further. The Armenian-American four piece are playing in the Windy City this weekend on Sunday, August 31st and Monday, September 1st, at Solider Field on their 2025 stadium tour. It is a co-headlining show with Avenged Sevenfold, with Polyphia and Wisp listed as openers.
Avenged Sevenfold have been announcing collaborations and special features for their pop-up shop that is to be opened on August 29th, including the opportunity to get an Avenged Sevenfold-themed tattoo on site. The shop providing the service, Deluxe Tattoo, have also announced a System of a Down-themed flash sheet available for fans to choose from.
The flash tattoo event is running from Friday, August 29th through Monday, September 1st, 12-8pm. The address is 1461 W Irving Pk Rd, Chicago, IL. There are ten different designs available, ranging in complexity, and prices range from $100-$350 (and be sure to tip your tattoo artist!). Of course, you don't have to be attending either show to be able to obtain one of these sick tattoos. All fans are welcome, but be prepared to get there early to secure your spot in line.
