Canadian nu metal royalty Kittie have been in the studio working on a brand new album. Following up 2011’s I’ve Failed You, the band has been in the studio with producer Nick Razkulinecz, who worked on Stone Sour’s Come What(ever) May, Deftones’s Diamond Eyes, and Korn’s Suffering in Serenity. The band had been hinting at a new release for several months, and the rumors are now confirmed in a photo of the group at Sienna Recording Studio in Nashville, shared to the studio's Instagram feed.
Formed in London, Ontario in 1996, the band currently consists of the Lander sisters, Morgan (vocalist, guitar) and Mercedes (drums), Tara McLeod (lead guitar), and Ivana “Ivy” Jenkins (bass). Their recent live performances have added a new track, titled “Vultures,” into their set lists, their first new song in over a decade.
