Limp Bizkit's DJ Lethal Alludes To Potential Cause of Sam Rivers' Death

Nothing has been confirmed at this time, but Rivers' health issues have been well-documented.

The music world is mourning the death of Sam Rivers, Limp Bizkit co-founder and bassist, and we have all been left with questions, grief, and total disbelief. While details are still coming out in this breaking story, Rivers' bandmate DJ Lethal has shared a reel to his Instagram with #Fuckcancer, with a picture of Rivers on stage wearing a shirt with the same phrase:

It must be said that no official word has come from the authorities or the family of Rivers, though his ongoing health issues are documented. Rivers left the band in 2015, owing to degenerative disc disease, but this was later confirmed to be due to needing a liver transplant in 2017 following a history of excessive alcohol consumption. This news broke via Rivers in Jon Wiederhorn's Raising Hell: Backstage Tales from the Lives of Metal Legends, which released in 2020.
