Linkin Park Postings Spark Reunion Rumors //Updated//

There has been an interestingly consistent stream of posts from both the band and promoters that have fans speculating about the possibility of a reunion tour.

UPDATE: A recent development includes an announcement on Mike Shinda's official website on August 12th, stating;

“Hey everyone! I've been locked away in the lab for a while, in between a couple summer trips. So many exciting things planned for you.
In the meantime, I posted a new piece of art--you can find it in The Bazaar. For those of you who are Zig holders / digital art collectors, you can use your keys for a discount, as usual.
Talk soon…”

Since Chester Bennington’s death seven years ago, Linkin Park have remained silent. Aside from the occasional 20th anniversary merch/box set drop for Hybrid Theory and Meteora, the band have been in a state of limbo that has had the fans wondering if they will ever attempt to reunite in some form.

But recently, there has been an interestingly consistent stream of posts from both the band and promoters that have fans speculating about the possibility of a reunion tour.

On August 8th, none other than Live Nation posted about Linkin Park for the first time since the One More Light era back in 2017, to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the Carnivores Tour.

The following day, Sonic Temple Festival in Ohio posted about Linkin Park, saying,

"Anyone else missing Linkin Park today? One of the most influential bands of all-time. Thank you Linkin for all that you have done for music and millions across the globe. Chester - Your legacy will never be forgotten."

As for the band themselves, months after the release of the Papercuts collection, the band has been posting about “Bleed It Out” more consistently on social media–from a behind the scenes for the music video, to a making of, to a Berlin live performance, and a video of them rehearsing the song for SNL. Coincidentally, “Bleed It Out” was the only music video to not receive a 4K upgrade at the time of that collection’s release.

All of these posts from the band, major promoters, and Live Nation itself are starting to spur rumors among excited Linkin Park fans over a possible reunion show. All of which follow reports from Jay Gordon of Orgy fame and Billboard stating that Linkin Park are considering a 2025 reunion tour with a female vocalist.

Could there be more as to why there have been so many posts about the band from major festivals and promoters? Is this just a way to promote the Bleed It Out music video finally getting that 4K Remaster treatment that coincidentally coincides with other posts? We will have to be on standby for what comes next.
