Looks like System of a Down vocalist Serj Tankian is at it again. Fresh off a headlining performance with the band this weekend, Tanakian has shared a short preview of one of the singles, "A.F. Day" from his upcoming solo EP Foundations.

The five-song EP is the result of Tankian's archival research for his memoir Down with the System. One song was originally written for System of a Down but never recorded with the band, while other tracks are coming from scrapped material from his Elect the Dead recordings from 2007-2008.
This is a rare chance for new System of a Down material, as Serj has said, "For the foreseeable future, it's not something that I'm really interested in doing"
“A.F. Day” is set to come out May 17th and Foundations is scheduled to come out this September on Gibson Records.
