Poppy is no stranger to her music being used for sporting events, with her years-long history with WWE well-documented (by us, at least). Now, she can add the National Hockey League (NHL) to her resume, as her song "New Way Out," taken from her 2024 album negative spaces, is being used by the New Jersey Devils for their in-arena hype video.
Devils home games at the Prudential Center will see this package play to rally the fans, and given that Poppy's music is great for a crashout, it works. Their next home game is tomorrow night, November 5th, against the St. Louis Blues.
Poppy's label Sumerian Records shared the clip to their socials, celebrating the feature of the genre-agnostic artist:

Poppy will be closing out her 2026 supporting Evanescence as they play in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on November 28th, followed by an appearance at Knotfest Mexico on December 5th. She's slated for no less than five major festivals in 2027, including Welcome to Rockville, Sonic Temple, and Boardwalk Rock.
