Following the departure of drummer Alex Bent, Greyson Nekrutman, who currently plays for Sepultura, will take over for the metalcore giants.
This marks the second move for Nekrutman in as many years, as he joined with Suicidal Tendencies in 2023, before joining up with Sepultura less than one year later for the Brazilian legends' farewell tour. In turn, Max Weinberg, who was with Slipknot previously, took Nekrutman's spot in Suicidal Tendencies.
This is starting to look like the industrial music scene in the late Eighties, with one guy being in about twelve bands, but I digress.
Nekrutman's first gig with Trivium was at Aftershock Festival in Sacramento, CA, with the band covering Sepultura's "Slave New World" as a nod to the band for sharing their drummer.
