Sevendust guitarist Clint Lowery is taking a break from touring due to a recent neck injury. As the legacy band celebrates the 21st anniversary of their landmark album Seasons, Jon Jourdan from Mammoth WVH has stepped in to fill Lowery’s shoes for the majority of the tour. For the shows Jourdan can’t make, Sevendust’s longtime manager and close friend, Tim Tournier, will take over guitar duties.

On September 10, Sevendust announced Lowery’s absence, sharing the news with fans in a heartfelt statement: “7D Family, we are excited to get on the road and celebrate the 21st Anniversary of Seasons with you all. Unfortunately due to a recent neck injury and under doctor's advisement, our brother Clint Lowery is going to have to miss these dates. He has been instructed to rest to allow the injury to heal and rocking with you all would work against his recovery from this injury. Thankfully, we have been able to recruit some last minute replacements on guitar with Clint's blessings. Jon Jourdan from Mammoth WVH will be filling in for most of the dates and our longtime manager and friend Tim Tournier will be picking up the guitar duties for the shows Jon has to miss. "We can't wait to see all of our fans 'Face to Face' as we celebrate Seasons live! Get well soon Clint!"

Released in October 2003, Seasons gained substantial commercial success and overall positive reception from critics. It featured the Top 10 rock single "Enemy," and the album’s closing track "Face to Face" remains a fan-favorite at Sevendust shows.

The Seasons September/October 2024 anniversary tour—with support from 10 Years, Return to Dust, and Horizon Theory—is scheduled to wrap up on October 8 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Highlights of the tour include stops in major cities like New York (September 19), Atlanta (September 25), Dallas (October 2), and Denver (October 7). The tour will also include appearances at Louder Than Life and Aftershock festivals.

Seasons marked Sevendust’s final release with TVT Records and was dedicated to the memory of Dave Williams (the original Drowning Pool singer who passed away in August 2002) and Reginald Witherspoon (singer Lajon Witherspoon’s younger brother, who was murdered in November 2002). The album was also the last Sevendust record to feature Lowery until his return to the band in 2008.
