Snot just announced they're back in the studio and they've already got five songs recorded. From Sunday's post on their official Facebook page: "Snot is excited to announce that the band has been writing and recording brand-new music, and the momentum is strong! The process has been going exceptionally well with five new songs already completed." "The energy coming out of the studio has been undeniable," adds guitarist Mikey Doling. "We've been working hard writing & recording... When I listen back to what we've been doing, I get chills and fill up with crazy excitement!"
The as-yet-untitled album is being recorded by producer/engineer/mixer Chris Collier (Fear Factory, Korn, Lynch Mob). The album, their first since 2000's Lynn Strait tribute album Strait Up, will be the first to feature new singer Andy Knapp who made his live with the band back in January 2025.
Later this month Snot will kick off their Australian tour with Soulfly and Nailbomb on January 26th in Brisbane. Later in the year the band will perform at both editions the newly revived Sick New World, as well as the Graspop Metal Meeting in Belgium and select shows across the US and the UK.
