Spider One's New Film 'Little Bites' Gets Trailer, October Release Date

Written and directed by Spider One and executive produced by Cher (yes, that Cher), the film is about a young girl (Elizabeth Phoenix Caro) whose mother (Krsy Fox) protects her from a hungry monster by bringing it another sort of food.

While Powerman 5000 are still going strong after thirty years of sci-fi flavored hard rock, their frontman Spider One has another creative outlet as well: directing horror films. His 2022 debut anthology Allegoria earned a Best Actress nomination for lead Krsy Fox at Panic Fest, and can currently be found on Shudder and AMC+. Which is to say nothing of the 2011 series Death Valley, which haunted MTV audiences with its Cops-like approach to filming.

Now, Spider One has revealed the trailer for his second film, entitled Little Bites. Written and directed by Spider One and executive produced by Cher (yes, that Cher), the film is about a young girl (Elizabeth Phoenix Caro) whose mother (Krsy Fox) protects her from a hungry monster by bringing it another sort of food. With elements of Hellraiser and The Babadook evident in the trailer, and plenty of gore to go around, Little Bites is a creature feature with an appetite.

Released through RLJE Films and Shudder, the film will hit theaters on October 4th. Among the listed cast are horror heavyweights such as Heather Langenkamp (A Nightmare on Elm Street), Bonnie Aarons (The Nun), Barbara Crampton (Re-Animator), and the Dead Meat duo of James A. Janisse and Chelsea Rebecca. Roy Mayorga of Hellyeah and Stone Sour fame composed the soundtrack and serves as one of several executive producers.
