Spiritbox To Play Grammys Premiere Ceremony

The three-time nominees are set to play this weekend's concert, which will precede the award show.

At last year's Grammy Awards, Courtney LaPlante made internet history when she took it in stride, doing an interview on the red carpet while the interviewer thought she was Poppy. Call it a showing of female solidarity, call it a "fuck you" to sexism and ignorance, but either way, it's the stuff of legend now.

This year, after Spiritbox notched their third nomination for Best Metal Performance, the band have been tapped to play this year's Premiere Ceremony, to be held at the crypto.com Arena tomorrow, Sunday, February 1st.

Joining Spiritbox on the bill are Darren Criss and Helen J Shen, Tasha Cobbs Leonard, Zara Larsson, as well as an ensemble performance by Grace Potter, Israel Houghton, Lila Iké, Maggie Rose and Trombone Shorty.

The ceremony will air on the GRAMMYs official YouTube channel beginning at 12:30pm PST (local time) / 3:30PM EST.
