Wynonna's Beaver Rejoices As Taco Bell Brings Back 7-Layer Burrito

It returns as part of the restaurant's "Decades: Y2K" menu.

Once upon a time, there was a woman named Wynonna, and she had a big brown beaver. Her friend Lou brought over his old baboon and asked if she recognized that smell, which turned out to be a 7-Layer Burrito from Taco Bell.

Now, in the year of our Lard 2025, that and four other classic menu items are returning to Taco Bell's menu as part of their Y2K (no relation to the horror comedy with the Fred Durst cameo) section of their Decades initiative. This has seen classic items like the Enchirito make cameo appearances on their otherwise modern, more streamlined menu.

Joining the 7-Layer Burrito will be the Cool Ranch Doritos Locos Taco, the Double Decker Taco, the Chili Cheese Burrito, and the Caramel Apple Empanada, aka the low-key greatest fast food dessert offering of all time.

The Y2K menu launches across participating restaurants on Tuesday, September 9th, with giveaways of themed Ed Hardy merch throughout the campaign. Taco Bell Rewards members will get one week of early access, beginning on Tuesday, September 2nd. Check out Taco Bell's press release for the full lowdown.

And for old time's sake, here's the music video for Primus' "Wynonna's Big Brown Beaver":
