Bristol-based nu metal youngbloods Profiler are on the hunt for a new drummer, according to an Instagram post earlier today.
The UK group are one of the most promising young bands in the genre, having released one of our favourite albums of recent years with 2024's A Digital Nowhere, which we profiled ourselves in our Top 13 Contemporary Nu Metal Albums feature from earlier this year.
Founded in 2020 as the solo studio project of songwriter, guitarist, and vocalist Mike Evans, the band expanded to include bassist and vocalist Joe Johnson and drummer Oscar Hocking. In early 2023, Oscar departed to be replaced by Brad Ratcliffe, forming the line-up that would go on to record A Digital Nowhere, their debut. It would seem that Ratcliffe has since moved on.
According to the band, they are seeking "a committed and talented individual ideally based in the south west UK". Their DMs are open.
