WWE's Lyra Valkyria Wants Evanescence At Her "Own Personal Coachella"

She also professed her love of Nickelback and 'Gilmore Girls.'

This past weekend was WrestleMania 41, emanating from Sin City for the second time in its four-decade history. Among the performers was one Lyra Valkyria, who went into the event as the first-ever WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion and left adding one-half of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions, teaming with “The Man” Becky Lynch to unseat Raquel Rodriguez and Liv Morgan of The Judgment Day.

Of course, as the wrestling spectacle took place during the second weekend of Coachella, music festivals were fresh on the minds of many. In an interview Valkyria did with “Queen of the Ring” Alex Lajas, the topic of Netflix binging came up, as WWE are now partnered with the streaming service. Valkyria talks about streaming the new Devil May Cry series, mentioning Evanescence’s soundtrack feature “Afterlife.” She names “My Last Breath” as her favorite song by the band.

Then Lajas asks what five artists Valkyria would want on her own lineup, to which the Irish grappler responded with Evanescence, Nightwish, Nickelback (which she says is going to “bounce back on [her] hard”), Avril Lavigne, and Bowling For Soup. She goes on to say that NXT’s Thea Hail is the only person she’s met in WWE with a similar music taste to herself, though Lajas further affirms Valkyria’s choices by saying she’d check out that festival with the proposed line-up.
