Originally conceived as a production-focused offshoot of Grammy-nominated metalcore band Code Orange, NOWHERE2RUN have just announced their debut EP, What Did You Know? Since Code Orange's hiatus, officially confirmed back in April, NOWHERE2RUN has increasingly taken up more and more of multi-instrumentalist Jami Morgan and Eric "Shade" Balderose's focus. Morgan had this to say about the project:
"It felt like the right time to lower the mask and reveal a little bit of NOWHERE2RUN identity as artists. We constructed this project through the lens of a mystery, something very dark and tech noirish. It feels like an appropriate way to start to tell the story of where we are at and where we have been."
Coinciding with the announcement, NOWHERE2RUN released a music video for the first single, the pulsing, paranoid "Motives." The fulll EP drops October 31 through their own Nowhere Recordings in association with Pale Chord Music/Rise Records.
