Powerman 5000 have unveiled a remix of their 2020 song "Black Lipstick" featuring German industrial metal pioneers Die Krupps. While the original track is more of a goth-rock jam, this newer version leans heavier into industrial elements with harder-hitting percussion and a more aggressive tone.
One could say that the titular cosmetic in the new version is more likely to get smeared than it would be in the original, even with the chorus line of "black lipstick over me."
