As divisive as the trend of "big announcement coming on this date" is, it's at least getting the almighty algorithm warmed up.
Today (July 14th), just days after wrapping up her European headline tour, Scene Queen dropped a teaser for her new song and tour title namesake "Metalicious," which will be available tonight at midnight EST.
Promising that we "can't guess the feature on this" with a hypothetical $20 wager, fans are making their guesses in the comments. Names such as Delilah Bon, WARGASM, Poppy, and Spiritbox's Courtney LaPlante have been thrown around, with WARGASM in particular being a definite maybe, given their supporting act status on the aforementioned "Metalicious" tour.
Among the biggest raised eyebrows is one Taylor Barber of Left to Suffer and Seven Hours After Violet giving a potential tell in a comment with the "sweat smile" emoji.
In any case, the answer will be revealed tonight at midnight. The song will follow singles such as "Tracksuit" and "Manicure," so one would think that an album announcement is on the way.
