Sevendust Are Still Here Alive And Breathing With "Threshold"

The Atlanta nu metal veterans are back from the dead through the magic of stop-motion animation. AI could never.

Grammy-nominated nu metal trailblazers Sevendust are back with "Threshold," third single and music video from their upcoming album ONE. The music video features clay animation courtesy of director and animator Ollie Jones who previously collaborate with the band on the "Fence" music video. In that video, the band fought a horde of mutant zombies brought on by a toxic waste spill. Fans may recall the band did not make it out of that one alive.

No worries! This new video picks up where that one left off. Despite being dead and buried, a money-grubbing studio executive enlists a mad scientist (and his hunchbacked assistant) to resurrect the band Frankenstein style so they can get back out on the road and make some money. Clearly there's no deeper meaning to be gleaned from the scenario with regards to the state of the record labels and the music industry at large.

Even though Sevendust just wrapped a tour with Alter Bridge and Daughtry, the band will be heading out on the road again starting April 16th in celebration of ONE'S release. Special guests will include AtreyuFire from the Gods, and American Adrenalin. The tour will also feature bonus shows supporting Alter Bridge and festival stops at Rockville and Sonic Temple. Later in the summer, the band will perform at Summer of '99 and Beyond Festival and The McHenry Music Festival in Illinois.

ONE comes out April 17th on Napalm Records. Check out tour dates and the music video for "Threshold" below.
