Sevendust Complete Tracking for 15th Studio Album

The news was shared by guitarist and vocalist Clint Lowery.

Sevendust have officially wrapped tracking for their upcoming fifteenth studio album. The news was shared by guitarist and vocalist Clint Lowery yesterday via social media, where he expressed gratitude toward his bandmates and longtime producer Michael “Elvis” Baskette.

Lowery wrote:

“I got so caught up at home I forgot to post my end of studio picture. Seeing the other guys finishing up their parts and going home reminded me. First off…thanks to God ALL mighty. My family who I sacrifice time away from during the writing and tracking of this. My amazing bandmates @morgan7d @ljspoon @jmc7d @thevinniehornsby for giving me some of the best memories of my life. The killer production team….the complete monster squad…. @elvisliberace @1f_jef @joshuasaldate for taking things to the highest level demanding perfection or our closet effort. 4 records in a row and all amazing experiences. Can’t wait to hear @elvisliberace mix this bad boy up. So grateful. See yall on tour very soon! Ps: @janusmusicmgmt thank you.”

The forthcoming record marks Sevendust’s fourth consecutive collaboration with Baskette, who has handled production duties on their recent studio efforts.

Sevendust’s most recent record to date, Truth Killer, was released in 2023 and continued to refine the band’s hallmark mix of low-tuned guitars, rhythmic precision, and the contrast between Lajon Witherspoon’s melodic vocals and Morgan Rose’s aggressive delivery. As noted in The Nu-Metal Agenda’s review, the album also leaned further into atmospheric and electronic textures, broadening the group’s sonic palette while maintaining the intensity and emotional weight that define their sound. The record was described as “a testament to their collaborative efforts continuing to produce something special.”

Sevendust are slated to kick off their acoustic anniversary tour in just over a week, showcasing a more intimate and vulnerable side of the band with new and classic renditions to celebrate their legacy.

The Southside Double-Wide: Acoustic Live tour launches on November 14 in Columbia, Missouri, and wraps on December 12 in San Antonio, Texas. Country artist Cory Marks will open all 22 dates. Tickets and VIP packages are available now through the band’s official channels.
