The album's surprising, soul-searching title track is a departure for the band, lyrically and stylistically.

French metalcore supergroup ten56. (ex-Betraying the Martyrs, Uneven Structure) have just released the music video for "IO," the surprising, soul-searching title track from the band's debut full-length IO. Stripped of distorted guitars and screams, the song marks a stylistic departure for the band and lead singer Aaron Matts raps about taking steps to finally break the cycle of (self-)destructive behavior. Full of anger and regret, the song closes out the tumultuous album with clarity and the faintest sense of hope.
