As the premier goth/industrial night in the United States comes up on their 27th anniversary this May, The Ination is bringing the bounce back to the mosh pit with a Nu Metal Night. The dark alternative collective brought an Industrial Metal vs. Nu Metal Night to Frankies in Toledo, OH last September, and this time the cult of the nu will take over The Ottawa Tavern, where The Ination previously called home for about two years, on Saturday, April 18th.
Resident DJs Havok, Audioflesh, Darks Choir, and Ghoztbomb will be bringing the boom to the iconic (and recently re-opened) Ottawa Tavern, located on the historic Adams Street in downtown Toledo, OH. The Glass City may very well break stuff that night, as it promises to be a night to remember, before I forget.
In addition, The Ination will be giving away ten tickets for the May 14th date of the Nu Metal Sucks Tour, featuring Primer 55, (hed)p.e., and Spineshank at Frankies. This is further proof, as if those of us in the nu world needed it, that what was old is nu again.
The Ination Nu Metal Night will be Saturday, April 18th, with doors opening at 8pm. Cover will be $5 at the door, and this will be an 18+ night. The Ottawa Tavern is located at 1815 Adams St. in Toledo, OH. Keep up with The Ination on socials for more information and future events.
