Tom Morello has broken news of a new single arriving later this month.
In a post on his social media platforms yesterday, Morello announced his new single "ADJOURN IT" will be released on May 29th. The track is a collaboration with longtime friend Serj Tankian of System of a Down and Morello's 15 year old son Roman Morello, who Tom says is "shredding" on the song.

According to Morello's post, the song was inspired by "The persecution of immigrants across the land and the counterforce of a heroic resistance to the rising tide of fascism." Morello calls "ADJOURN IT" a "freedom song of crushing riffs for justice and equality." As anyone who has remotely followed Morello's career knows, a song in this vein has been expected since the ICE escalations throughout the country, and the notable push back by the public, particularly in Minneapolis following the surge and subsequent killings of both Renee Good and Alex Pretti caught in 4k, in addition to the brutalization of the immigrant and migrant communities in the Twin Cities area.
