This summer Grammy-winning Atlanta alt-metal titans Mastodon are heading across the Atlantic. The European/UK tour kicks off June 3rd and will feature a mix of headlining shows and festival dates. Joining the mayhem on select dates will be English nu-metalcore outfit Loathe. Tickets go on sale February 6th, 11AM CET.
This tour announcement comes just months after the departure and subsequent tragic passing of founding lead guitarist Brent Hinds. Live, Hinds's role has been filled by Canadian guitarist and songwriter Nick Johnston. According to guitarist Bill Kelliher, Johnston has been actively involved in the writing and recording of Mastodon's as-yet-untitled new album, their follow-up to 2021's Grammy-nominated double album Hushed and Grim.
Mastodon will bookend the European/UK tour with sets at both iterations of the recently revived Sick New World. Check out tour dates and "Floods of Triton," their collabo with Lamb of God, below.
