They say God moves fast and the Devil moves faster, but the doom-wop triumvirate that is Rickshaw Billie's Burger Patrol are wasting zero time. Just days after their own Dumb Fest and their new single "Bough Down," the Austin-based band have announced their next touring venture, which will see them supporting Death From Above 1979 on their fall tour. With the band's next album CA$H GRAB on the horizon, and no announced dates before then, perhaps we will see the new LP out by year's end.
Garage rock outfit Wine Lips will be supporting through the rest of the tour, with RBBP playing the following dates:
09/05 Cookeville, TN @ Muddy Roots Music Festival
10/01 Sacramento, CA @ Ace Of Spades
10/02 Berkeley, CA @ UC Theater
10/03 Monterey, CA @ Golden State Theatre
10/04 San Luis Obispo, CA @ Fremont Theater
10/06 Ventura, CA @ Ventura Music Hall
10/08 Los Angeles, CA @ The Belasco
10/09 Santa Ana, CA @ The Observatory OC
10/10 San Diego, CA @ The Observatory San Diego
10/11 Tempe, AZ @ The Marquee
10/13 Denver, CO @ Gothic Theatre
Thus far, the new album has two singles: the aforementioned "Bough Down," as well as "Peaches," both of which are available on all major DSPs. Rest assured, there are plenty more big dumb riffs where those came from.
