Let me introduce you to your new favorite band: Melted Bodies. You may know from their supporting Horse the Band on The Mechanical Band Tour. Perhaps you found the band through acts such as Flagman or Machine Girl. In any case, Melted Bodies is the purest form of weirdo avant-garde metal bands from the late Naughties and early 2010s, like Dr. Acula or iwrestledabearonce.
It seems like the band is definitely is not beating any nu metal allegations. Combining serious lyrics and instrumentation and absurdist artistry, Melted Bodies is the closest we will get to classic Steal this Album-era wacky System of a Down in 2025. Melted Bodies do it all so well, it does seem criminal to affix a label to their overall output just yet, and this set shows just that.
