Last night was the maiden show of the Sweat And Blood Tour, as Motionless In White kicked off their headlining tour across North America. Among the surprises on the night in Bridgeport, CT's Hartford HealthCare Amphitheater was the live debut of the band's take on Corey Hart's "Sunglasses At Night," just days before the studio version of the cover drops on the band's new album Decades this Friday.
With a video of the band members and other crew donning the titular eyewear, and a new synthwave-inspired logo to boot, the band leaned into the Eighties cheese with dancers, a twirling routine, and Chris Motionless singing his heart out.
For a band that appears so serious, it's nice to see them not take themselves so seriously, having some fun with what they're doing.
