Seriously, if you haven't been keeping up with Pinkpop Archive, fix that ASAP.

Rage Against The Machine were only so different as a band back in 1993, just months out from their debut self-titled album's release. With a focus on social justice and an emphasis on using only their own instruments to make all of the sounds featured in their music, the quartet behind "Killing in the Name" weren't even at the height of their powers at this point, but this clip from their Pinkpop Festival performance in 1993 demonstrates a band firing on all cylinders.

Tom Morello's whammy bar shenanigans on his iconic "Arm the Homeless" guitar kick things off before he goes into the track proper, and from there it's all groove as only Rage can do. The song "Fistful of Steel" is about taking action and coming up off the sidelines, and even with the quiet verse / loud chorus dynamic found in plenty of shades of Nineties alt-rock, this track is all action.
