Following the success of their 2026 world tour, alt-metal supergroup A Perfect Circle have just released a new single, "To Whom It May Concern," and announced a North American tour for spring 2027. Joining them will be singer Maynard James Keenan's other-other band, Puscifer, and The Cult.
Ticket pre-sale begins Wednesday, September 30th, at 10AM local time and runs until 10PM local time Thursday, October 1st; pre-sale code: PERFECT. General on-sale goes live Friday, October 2nd, at 10AM local time. The Elizabethtown, Kentucky, show will go on sale at a later date, with additional details to come. This new track, presumably from whatever album eventually materializes, finds Keenan lamenting the disunity wrought by algorithms and social media. Where previously the now-62-year-old Keenan might have shouted at the proverbial clouds, "To Whom It May Concern," with its pointed mentions of handwritten letters and face-to-face discussions, is awash in sadness and resignation. This more plaintive approach to the subject matter feels like the flipside to "A Public Stoning," one of the standouts from Puscifer's Normal Isn't.
Like "Starless" before it, the track marks the return of legendary drummer and session musician Josh Freese (Nine Inch Nails, The Vandals), who was behind the kit on the band's first three albums. While the track is on the more gothic/ethereal side, Freese's drumming maintains a sense of urgency throughout.
Puscifer are set to begin their Normal Isn't World Tour starting October 25th in Stockholm. After making their way across Europe and the UK, Puscifer will join A Perfect Circle and special guest comedian/musician/actor Dave Hill for the final leg of their 2026 world tour, with stops in Latin America, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, and Hawaii. In 2027, Puscifer will open for A Perfect Circle from April 13th through the 26th, with The Cult taking over the support slot from April 27th through June 13th.
