Alt-metal supergroup A Perfect Circle are back with a new single, "Starless," as part of the lead-up to their upcoming world tour. The track is the first new music from the band since "Kindred" off the Sessanta E.P.P.P. in 2024. That project, a joint EP between Primus, A Perfect Circle, and lead singer Maynard James Keenan's other non-Tool project Puscifer, presaged a tour featuring the three bands in celebration of Keenan's 60th birthday. A Perfect Circle's last full-length, Eat The Elephant, was released in 2018.

This dynamic new track, a stand-alone single, arrives just one week out from the band's headlining world tour. Like "Kindred," and in contrast to the airy, piano-forward experimentation of Eat The Elephant, this track finds the band returning to their earlier, hard-hitting sound. Built atop walloping choruses, ethereal verses, and searing leads from co-founder guitarist/former Tool guitar tech Billy Howerdel, the track picks up where the band left off in the early 2000s. Starting June 3rd, A Perfect Circle will hit the road for their world tour with special guests Reclus.E, Jehnny Beth, and A.A. Williams. Puscifer will embark on a tour across Europe and the UK in support of their new album, Normal Isn't, beginning in October. The two tours will converge at the end of November with Puscifer opening for A Perfect Circle in Latin America, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, and Hawaii.
