The triumvirate of Poppy, Evanescence's Amy Lee, and Spiritbox's Courtney LaPlante began teasing fans yesterday with a photo of the three of them. Now the team-up has been named, as "End of You" is coming (presumably) very soon, with a striking black-and-white video clip signaling things to come.
Of the three acts involved, Evanescence is the only one yet to have an album release in the last twelve months. Spiritbox had Tsunami Sea drop in March, while Poppy's negative spaces dropped in November 2024. Lee did team with Halsey for "Hand That Feeds" as part of the Ballerina soundtrack, as was her band's "Fight Like A Girl" with K.Flay joining Lee on vocals. Evanescence also had great chart success with "Afterlife," their contribution to the Devil May Cry soundtrack earlier this year.
Whatever comes next will surely be well-received, as fans are dubbing the trio "Mother, Daughter, Holy Spiritbox," in a parody of the biblical Holy Trinity. More on this as the story develops.
